Huon-class Minehunter
Built by a joint partnership between Australian Defence Industries (ADI) and Intermarine SpA, Yarra was constructed at ADI's Newcastle shipyard, launched on 19 January 2002, and commissioned on 1 March 2003.
The sixth and last vessel of Huon-class minehunter to have entered service in the Royal Australian Navy and the fourth warship to be named after the Yarra River in Victoria.
Battle Honours: Rabaul 1914, Adriatic 1917-18, Libya 1941, East Indies 1942, Malaysia 1964-66
Yarra II awarded Unit Citation for Gallantry
