HMS Bulwark (L15) was built as a landing platform dock of the Albion class by BAE Systems Marine, Barrow-in-Furness and launched by Lady Walker on the 15 November 2001, the ship entered service In 28 April 2005. She has taken part in many exercises She displaces 21.500 tons, at a length of 577 feet 3 in. with a top speed of 18 knots. The painting was commissioned and is owned by HMS Bulwark's commanding officer and depicts a multifaceted amphibious landing training exercise, during which the island was accidentally set on fire!
